Last month we highlighted the downward revision in Q1 GDP. Recently, the second revision was released and was even worse. On May 29, 2014, revised data for GDP Q1 2014 showed the US economy contracted by 1%, versus the previous revision showing the economy expanded by 0.1%, which was down from the initial reading of a 1.8% expansion.
