Some readers have made remarks here and there, like "yes we know the media is full of ****."
Well, amazing as it seems (to me) after writing extensively about the topic, many people still don't seem to get the message.
The message is not only that the media is filled with liars and idiots, all hand-selected specifically to exploit its audience for the benefit of its financial sponsors, BUT ALSO that you must not allow this to continue. You must fight back.
I would have thought people would have done something about it, like contact them non-stop and demand an end to the hacks, liars and clowns, all of which have terrible track records. Obviously, the fewer people who know about this site, the smaller the force to counter the media.
Apparently, many still fail to recognize that the media is more responsible for the effects of this collapse than even Wall Street. If you aren't able to figure out why by now (although I've explained it many times), you should probably never invest because you will most likely be taken over and over.
Others may not feel the need to spend their time going after the media and demanding an answer as to why I've been banned, or spreading the word about this site, after having stumbled onto this site. I view that as selfish behavior.
Whether you are still a bit naive or selfish, I want to remind you that without exposure, this site is unsustainable. Moreover, I will eventually lose all inspiration to work on the content. Spending several hours (and in some cases dozens of hours) to write each article is a waste of my time when I have such a small audience.
When I first began this site two years ago, I told you that I needed your assistance in order to make an impact. While many told me they woud help, the results have been pathetic. As it stands today, the media is winning because I'm fighting this battle by myself.
As discussed many times before, my lack of exposure is ultimately going to cost you in some manner. This is a fact whether you realize it or not. It appears that most readers really don't realize this.
Others have been fooled by one or more of the tricks used by the media. Some feel the need to read articles everyday so as to feel they are keeping up with what is going on. I can tell you that if you fit this profile, you're wasting your life. You don't see daily articles here for a good reason. If I'm not writing about it, it's not important.
Remember, stay away from the noise and smoke screens.
Instead of wasting your time getting caught up into the daily drama created by the financial media, you'd be much better off if you spent this time learning how to think for yourself. Of course, most people are lazy. Others feel they can trust the media.
If the media provides value, why is it that investors ultimately get blasted apart? It should be obvious to you by now what's going on. If you haven't figured out how the game is played by now, you never will.
Figuring out the game isn't enough. You need to take action. The more people that find out about this site, the larger the force we can assemble to fight the media.
As a result of the lack assistance in fighting the media and spreading the word about this site, in the near future, this site will largely be restricted to subscribers to the newsletter. Others will be charged a fee to access content.
No one likes to feel unappreciated, especially when they're sacrificing a huge about of time and lost revenues to assist people who just don't get it, too lazy or self-serving to help out for the benefit of everyone.
There are no ads here as you can see.
Can you show me another site that has no ads, yet gives away some of its products?
Do you see gold websites giving away gold?
What about securities or fund sites?
Do they give away securities?
I sell research and analysis, so I cannot continue to run this site without an audience because I am giving away my products; research and analysis.
In fact, the massive amount of time I have spent on this site has taken away a huge amount of time I could have spent on my core business. Remember, this site was ONLY created because I was being gradually shut out by even Internet sites.
More important, I feel I deserve a large audience. It's ridiculous that I do not have one. If one does not materialize, the only people who will be provided with content will be newsletter subscribers. This site will become private.
Many of you understand how I have been banned by the media and Internet. The reason for this is because they do not want someone who is credible, unbiased, and who can assist investors because that would make it more difficult for Wall Street to take your money. Wall Street pays the bills of the financial media, so it's Wall Street whom the media serves, not you.
What's remarkable is that as my forecasts continue to materialize every day, my exposure continues to dry up. This is the opposite of what one would expect; that is, until you realize that the media is not concerned with credibility. They are only concerned with delivering messages that serve the interests of their financial sponsors. That explains why you never get anything valuable from the financial media.
In my place are complete idiots and hacks who have become focal points and overnight experts due to their selection by the media. Many of these individuals were absolutely clueless when the house of cards began tumbling a couple of years ago. Others have been preaching doom and gloom for 20 years. Either way, individuals have been inducted into the media club for a damn good reason; they really don't provide insight that can help investors. That's the mission of the financial media because ithelps Wall Street take your money.
Of course, most people don't bother to research track records or investigate whether these hacks and fools are credible. Instead, they assume that if a person is on TV or quoted in the financial press, they must be experts. They also assume that when the media says they are experts then they must be.
They assume that if a guy like Doug Kass is called a hedge fund manager that he really is. They don't bother to check his website. They don't bother to see how this clown works for thestreet.com, spending his days marketing and delivering the same trash on CNBC. There are several Doug Kass' throughout the media club.
The few of you who realize what's going on; those who read this site, have apparently done nothing. That tells me is that I'm wasting my time.
You should be disgusted and pissed off at this reality because what it means is that you are going to get screwed by the members of the media club indefinitely.
As they say, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.
